The Broken Badge

Unlocking the mystery of the broken badge.

Raindrops poured

Faster winds blew

Trees danced

Leaves clapped

It’s how the world performs, said her red-eyed foe

Sit back, you were meant for it

Heavier raindrops poured

Wind blew from faster to lightening speed

Trees uprooted

But the leaves kept clapping

The badge she carried

Lost its shine

As solid as it was

It started to chip

Losing faith in it

Was nothing but natural

Embracing a subtle smile, her foe pointed out

Your bagde is breaking apart

Must you keep going?

With much to lose

And knowning not of what lies ahead

She kept her broken badge

“It is what made me and bring me further it shall.”
