Go Back In

I looked up at the skies.

Kept the tears from seeping out.

Go back in, they needed to go back in.

No place for them in this world.

I walked around in circles.

Straight paths only left me astray.

Go back in, I tell my dreams.

No place for dreamers like me.

They used their heads.

I used my heart.

Go back in, I tell my feels.

No place in this world of brains.

I brought them innocence.

They gave me reality.

Go back in, I tell my smile.

No place for you out there.

I speak no more than two words.

The others want to matter more.

Go back in, I tell my opinions.

They don’t know your struggle.
